Social Marketing

Social Marketing is just what it sounds like.  If you use Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc…  You have your Social Marketing arena at your fingertips – literally.

With Facebook, one can create pages to promote just about anything they desire.  Same with Google + pages, though I am a bit partial to Facebook over Google +.  Of course, there is always the option of talking about what you are selling on your main page (your regular Facebook page, not a fan page with just likes). The New Relationship Marketing

I’m excited to share with you a brand new book that is a must-read. It’s The New Relationship Marketing by my friend, Mari Smith. If you don’t know Mari, she’s one of the foremost leaders in the social media arena – with particular expertise in Facebook marketing.

Mari wrote this book specifically for those business owners and entrepreneurs who have only just dabbled with social media marketing, or who have reached a plateau with their online marketing efforts, and wish to propel their business to the next level and beyond. [Read more...]

Bizplansuccess Changes

If you’ve been keeping up with things around here, you’re probably aware that a website “glitch” cost me more than 2/3′s of my site content and that I haven’t made great strides to recover from that.

Truth is, I operate about 30 different websites and have been adding precautions and doing necessary maintenance where needed.  I can’t afford to be set back in time by a poorly written WordPress plugin again!

You will begin to see changes in what is advertised here and what affiliate marketing programs are covered and used.  I will begin promoting two programs that I’ve belonged to for over a year.  You may have also noticed that I no longer support GDI (Global Domains International) and Wealthy Affiliate University.   [Read more...]

How Does Multi-level Marketing (MLM) Work?

How Does Multi-Level Marketing Work?

Networking facilitates the linking of various people. As those people become more familiar with each other, they learn their diverse strengths. Networking seeks to maximize the use of those strengths, thereby encouraging an optimization of the human resources available to any company or institution.

In multi-level networking, the linking of various people takes place on distinct and separate levels. Multi-level networking has become a favored technique among sales groups, especially sales groups that employ multi-level marketing techniques.

Twitter Automation – Connect Your Social Networking

It’s really all about automation… unless you want to work hard all the time. Isn’t it time to start working smart?

Think about this… You update a blog you have somewhere on the vast web… maybe Google or other search engines will index it and you’ll get a bit of traffic. How focused your traffic will be is largely dependent upon how narrow or broad the indexed material is.

To Advertise or Not To Advertise…

If we are to make any reasonable money online, then we will need to advertise. We advertise intentionally and sometimes less so. What I mean is that there are a number of way to advertise. Some ways are paid. Some are simply getting the word out to an article site about your product and/or service. [Read more...]

It’s a numbers game…

Let’s make this quick, because if you’re like me, you’re busy!

I build my business(es) online because of the ease of advertising, the market potential for what I’m promoting, the ease of promoting, and the cost-effectiveness, among many other attractive reasons.

Today’s tip is to create mini-sites using WordPress.  Research low-competitive keywords through Google and use that list to register new domains.  Once you register your domains, start building one page sites that center on your keywords and site name (the URL).

In other words, if you research stamps, because you want to setup a stamp selling business online, you don’t want to make your site www.buystamps.com, because it is already taken, for one, and it is HIGHLY competitive!

Let’s go with something like www.fancystampsforyou.com or something similar.  The idea is to capitalize on the keywords by using them IN YOUR URL!!!  I can’t emphasize that enough!
