Everyday we are faced with life changing decisions. We don’t always recognize them as life changing, but I’m sure, in retrospect, you’ve caught yourself questioning an action and wondering about the “what if” had you taken a different path. I’m here today to let you know, you’re not alone.

In my online fight to succeed, I’ve tried just about everything. The one thing I never tried until recently was Affiliate Marketing education. No, I didn’t take some general marketing class as a local community college or online, but I stumbled upon a major Affiliate Marketing University that embodies the very essence of online success!

I titled this article “Deciding to Succeed – Affiliate Marketing” to capture what happened to me in a small title. At first, I would NEVER had accepted the offer. I’m one that will go to the most impressive and professionally designed site with extensively AWESOME content and STILL not sign-up out of FEAR of a SCAM! I’ll go more into scams and how I’ve been burned in another article, but for now, this is about my “Ah-HA!” moment that got me to sign-up with Wealthy Affiliate.

It all started with another money making program that I had checked out to be legitimate and eventually joined. After joining, I was poking around on their site and found a link to Wealthy Affiliate. Being skeptical as usual, I didn’t bother clicking on it. After going back and forth to this new affiliate program I was working with, I thought I would at least check out the page and decide if it was worth my time.

The story goes on, but I’m going to shorten it up a bit so you can go on to read your morning news, etc… Making the decision to click on that Wealthy Affiliate link, as you see, didn’t come easy, but i eventually did just that. Once I got there, there was a little pop-up window that asked for my email address to send me more information. Well, you probably figured I didn’t put anything there for a while, but again, I did eventually.

After being bombarded by various promotional and informative emails from Wealthy Affiliate, I still didn’t sign up with them. To me, it seemed expensive! Just another site for just another $29.99 a month. I was like, I can’t see myself spending even MORE money to see if this site will actually benefit me or not. But then, I thought it over… probably for just over a month.

So, as you probably expected, I took my time pondering if Wealthy Affiliate would do me a bit of good and struggled with the idea of paying money for it. My decision didn’t come easy, but the main thing that got me to sign up was actually pretty simple. In my 5+ years of Affiliate Marketing, I have actually made a little money. That might not seem odd to you, but if you take into consideration I had ZERO outside help, with site development AND marketing, then that is pretty impressive. That’s right, I did it all myself. Granted, I read a lot, I perused the net a lot, but I never paid a dime for ads, never submitted articles, never advertised in anyway short of just having a website presence AND still made money.

The whole point of signing up with Wealthy Affiliate was to help me STOP having lateral success and actually START making real money I could brag about for a change. I still believe my decision to join was a great one! Their site has an enormous amount of Affiliate Marketing content, of which anyone should be able to find their niche and start promoting right-away. Once you join, you don’t have to spend money on ANYTHING else with them. They will not only show you the ropes, they will teach you how to use them. Not to mislead you, there are different methods to any program – in the case of Wealthy Affiliate, they show multiple options for advertising, for example: PPC, Article Marketing, using free sources to cross-market your product, affiliate site, or service. Like I mentioned previously, there is surely a method that will fit your needs.

Now one last point to make about Wealthy Affiliate. You DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, have to come into their program with something you’re already doing, i.e. affiliate marketing, etc… WA already has many different programs available for you to dig into that can be setup and promoted; not to mention setup your niche website with their web hosting, which is included (domain registration is extra, but if you already have one, you can setup your DNS to point it to their web-space).
