I was looking over one of my accounts today and noticed someone purchased one of my recommended products, yet refunded it only 2 days later. Why did they refund it? I can suggest a few possibilities. The main factor that stands out to me is the fact that either I or the landing page for the product didn’t create enough value in the customer’s eyes.

But what creates value anyway? Is it the appeal of the landing page, the offer, exactly what is it? The answer is “Yes!” Since we know that to keep a customer we must first create enough value to get them to “hook” first, then keep them by showing them how the program/product/or service will make their life better.

Then there is the part about … “How on earth do we do that?” It is easy, then it isn’t. The part that is easy is advertising. But advertising to the right market is entirely another matter! My ads are pretty clear about what the program/product/or service will do for you, but what isn’t clear is how much is required of those purchasing them.

I rarely use my own landing pages. I will sometimes use my own domains to sport the already created landing pages, but I try to leave the creation of phenomenal ad to the professionals. They have already been there and know what works and what doesn’t. And I’m not really one to try reinventing the wheel.

So back to the original question. ”Why do we fail?” Many, many reasons. The #1 reason is lack of confidence. Typically, if we do not get instant gratification from our immediate actions, we consider the matter moot and lost. Then we withdraw, refund, try something else, fail, and so the cycle continues.

I don’t like to use the word “honestly” in my writing and it can come off superficial or even a cover up of dishonesty. But honestly… if you are the type that fits into the category of the failure cycle and can’t see why this is happening to you over and over again, then you’ve come to the right place.

The purpose of this blog/or whatever you would like to refer to it as, is to show micro-spotlights of varying programs/products/and services that I recommend. I recommend these things because I either use them myself, have used them, or they speak for themselves from the proven success of others. I don’t try them all, because there isn’t enough time in the day to do so.

Let’s get back on topic. Why do we fail? The answer is obvious. Already mentioned was a lack of confidence, but another powerful one is trust. If we don’t trust something, we will usually dump it or should if we haven’t. There is no reason to convince yourself that something is going to change your opinion if it hasn’t already. Granted, there is an art in knowing the difference between truth and fiction. Oftentimes, the truth is stranger than fiction – as you may have heard the saying.

Here is my advice. Prevent failures from occurring by thoroughly understanding what you’re about to embark upon. Think it through and definitely don’t get caught up in thinking “this is my lucky break – a get rich quick scheme – yay!” Because it isn’t. Once you understand that all of these things offered out here have a lot of hype surrounding them, yet are nonetheless tools, the quicker you’ll cast aside doubts and embrace what those things offer you in terms of a vehicle to get you from where you are now to, hopefully, a better place sometime down the road.

Never give up! If you are a quitter, you’ll give up time and time again. Keep in mind, quitting is not the same as failure. Failure happens when you DON’T give up and trumps the finality of quiting. You’re likely to fail many, many time before you’re machine becomes second nature. This may sound contrary to what I was saying earlier, but the main point to take away from reading this blog post is that you can’t fail if you don’t try, and you can’t win if you don’t try, and most importantly, you can’t succeed if you quit.

Everything takes time. Some programs more than others. Be patient, don’t take shortcuts and try your hardest to make it your part-time job. Eventually, it will be the only part-time job you’ll need.
